Who we are
Viyuh is a cyber defense platform developed and owned by RESEC Systems (“RESEC”, “we”, “us”), a company based in Chandigarh, India. This policy describes how we handle personal data collected through this website. It does not cover data processed by the Viyuh product on behalf of customers, which is governed by the applicable customer agreement.
What we collect
- Contact details you choose to send us — for example, your work email address when you submit the demo request form or write to us. Demo request details are used only to respond to your enquiry.
- Standard technical logs generated by our hosting infrastructure, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, used for security and operations.
This website does not use advertising trackers, and does not set analytics or marketing cookies. If that changes, this policy and a cookie notice will be updated first.
How we use personal data
- To respond to your enquiries and schedule product demonstrations.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations applicable to us in India.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not send marketing campaigns to addresses received through demo requests beyond responding to the enquiry itself.
Legal basis and data residency
We process personal data in accordance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), on the basis of your consent and the legitimate uses recognised by the Act. Website and business data is processed and stored on India-hosted infrastructure.
Sharing and retention
Personal data is shared only with service providers that support our operations (such as email and hosting providers) under appropriate safeguards, or where required by law. We retain enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and meet our legal obligations, after which it is deleted.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, nominate another individual to exercise your rights, and raise a grievance about how your data has been handled. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within the timelines prescribed by law.
Grievance redressal
Grievance Officer, RESEC Systems — Chandigarh, India. info@resecsystems.io (subject line: “Privacy grievance”). If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India as provided under the DPDP Act.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, or the law, evolve. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version; material changes will be highlighted on this page.
